Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) program experience an immersive, intense, and rewarding education structured around a studio environment that promotes critical thinking and creative problem solving. The Mississippi State University Landscape Architecture programs teach the artful synthesis of social and ecological processes related to planning, designing, building and managing regenerative communities in Mississippi and the Northern Gulf Region, within a global perspective. We also rely heavily on our internship pool for entry-level full-time openings each year.Īn award-winning landscape architecture, site planning, and urban design studio within Tighe & Bond, serving New England and the eastern United States. Students are paired with a “buddy” and supervisor, both of which provide day-to-day guidance on projects throughout the summer. Our internships offer students the opportunity to work on real assignments across multiple disciplines, while also directly relating to their coursework. It would be helpful to have experience using design software.

You will need to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, a desire to solve engineering problems, flexibility, a positive attitude, and open mindedness. You will need to be currently enrolled in and pursing a degree in Landscape Architecture with at least 2 years of completed course work. You will also be assisting with the preparation of construction drawings/document sets and working with senior designers on a collaborative team. You will be developing 3D models, rendering, and producing presentation graphics. You will be assisting our landscape architecture team with design projects for parks, open spaces, campus and urban environments, municipal spaces, multi-scale landscape infrastructure, and development and remediation projects. You will work in a hybrid office/remote/field model with our Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio group. You can sit in either our Boston, MA or Shelton, CT office.
